Oh, but it gets worse! We said six lawyers, right? It could not have been coincidental that the receiver, owned by Ron Weiser, Chairman of the Michigan Republican Party, brought in another three lawyers! In fact, one was a judge! The receiver brought in two lawyers plus Judge Jonathan Lauderbach to help prevent the emails between Dickinson Wright and the receiver from being released. Like Pappas, Judge Lauderbach had never before been involved. Hmm ... any planning and coordination there to bring in Ed Pappas and Judge Lauderbach simultaneously - for a total of six lawyers including a judge, who was well known to the presiding judge, to get the subpoena quashed?

Recently, in late June 2022, Dickinson Wright had a Troy, Michigan police detective, Ryan Whiteside, call to intimidate us and tell us not to include attorneys known to Dickinson Wright or relatives of Dickinson attorneys on our distribution list. If someone wants to unsubscribe, then they can notify us, and we will remove them from our list. That's how it works, not by Dickinson Wright enlisting their friendly detective to intimidate us. If Dickinson Wright didn't want their actions reported, then they should have thought about that before committing those acts. Our mailing list and website views continue to increase by the thousands, and we will not succumb to Dickinson Wright’s pressure tactics. The truth will continue to be told.

On our About page, we invite Canyon Partners and their attorneys to prove that anything we publish is inaccurate. Our website has been live for four months, and we have not heard a peep out of Dickinson Wright or Canyon Partners to point out even a single inaccuracy. Unlike several Dickinson Wright lawyers (hint: Michael Hammer, Ben Dolan, Ariana Pellegrino), we are committed to telling the truth.

We will continue to publish the untold stories and report new information as it is learned. Dickinson Wright was paid millions by Canyon and got away with many lies in many courts - before evidence was discovered - but the court of public opinion is still open. Furthermore, much of our site reports on facts that no court ever reviewed. We intend to continue to tell many more of the stories about Dickinson Wright’s lies to state and federal court judges.
